I'm playing TEXAS on the run-line (+1.5 runs) The Padres brought the Giants back down to earth yesterday. Now, they'll face a suddenly hot Texas team which has climbed back to .500 and which has its ace on the mound. The Rangers have won b2b games and five of their last six. Since a tough first start, Gibson has been outstanding. In fact, over his last six starts, he's allowed just six combined earned runs. He went six or more innings in each of those starts, too. Last time out, he went eight complete. The Rangers won five of those six games and the other was a 2-1 loss. While he's also been very stingy, Wood gave up a couple runs in five innings last time out. The Giants lost 8-6. In a game where runs could be at a premium, look for the surging Rangers to earn AT LEAST the "run-line cover."
