This is a 10* TOP FRIDAY TOTAL on the OVER A's/Mariners.
I had a play on the OVER in this one last night and it came up short in the A's 4-1 win. While that one did come up short, I think that we'll finally see some runs plated on Friday.
The A's hand the ball to Frankie Montas, who is 8-8 with a 4.33 ERA and who gave up two runs off six hits over six innings in a loss to the Indians on Saturday. Montas is just 5-6 with a 4.87 ERA in all NIGHT games this year.
The home side goes with Yusei Kikuchi, who is 6-5 with a 3.92 ERA. He was crushed in his first start out of the break by the Angels, allowing seven earned runs off nine hits over five innings.
Kikuchi has been terrible of late, allowing 12 earned runs over his last two starts and I say that regression continues here.
These are two hungry offenses that are squaring off against two shaky starters.
This one has OVER written all over it.
