This is an 8* FAN APPRECIATION TOTAL on the UNDER Astros/Red Sox.
This has been a high-scoring playoffs. We saw some fantastic pitching down the stretch of the regular season, but so far this post-season has been dominated by offensive play.
Especially in the American League, and especially by these two teams.
The Red Sox have now seen the total go OVER the number in seven of eight in the post-season, including in thee first three of this series.
The Astros have seen the total go OVER in six of seven as well, including in six straight.
It's of my opinion now, that the general betting public is almost blindly playing the "over" now and that perception has driven this total much higher than it should be.
I think that Nick Pivetta and Zack Greinke are going to battle deeper into this one and that'll ultimately help in finally driving this total UNDER the posted number.
