This is an 8* TOP TOTAL on the OVER Edmonton/Hamilton.
What do you base your Over/Under picks on? Do you simply look at whether or not teams are currently "hot" or "cold" offensively or defensively, or do you also take into account several other factors?
I'm a contrarian at heart, but I also like betting on motivated teams when I'm betting OVERS. That's the case here for sure for both of these sides.
Each team is 0-3 SU. Hamilton is 0-3 ATS, while Edmonton is 1-2 ATS.
Hamilton has seen the total go UNDER in two of three, while Edmonton has seen the ottal go OVER in two of three.
That includes in last week's 30-23 loss at Calgary. The Elks have gotten progressively better on the offensive end each week, scoring 15, 16 and then 23 points last weekend. Look for this progression to continue here against Hamilton.
The Ti-Cats issues have mainly come on the offensive end, as they've lost 30-13 to Saskatchewan, 33-30 at home to Calgary (in OT), and then 26-12 at Winnipeg.
Hamilton I think will get back on track here offensively in front of the home town crowd again.
Neither team can sit back and wait for the other to make the first mistake. Whoever wants to earn its first victory of the season is going to have to go out there and take it.
This one has old fashioned "SHOOTOUT" written all over it.
