Scherzer has allowed just two earned runs on six hits with 16 strikeouts and four walks in 12.1 innings over three appearances, against Atlanta in the regular season he allowed just four runs in 12 innings. Anderson threw five shutout innings with three hits, no walks, and six strikeouts in his last outing against the Brewers. The Braves have scored three runs or fewer in four of the five games in the playoffs and were outhit 10-6 margin in game one.
