Point Spread: 6.50 | -108.00 UNLV (Away)
UNLV is 4-1 and San Jose State is 3-1. The Rebels are coming off a 31-20 win over New Mexico, while the Spartans are off a 33-16 win over Wyoming. The Rebels though have won three straight. They've averaged 37.8 PPG, led by Doug Brumfield, who completed 73 percent of his passes in their latest victory. UNLV has been stout defensively in conceding just 22.4 PPG. The Spartans have won two in a row and they wnter averaging 32.6 PPG. They've played well defensively as well, conceding just 15.8. Chevan Cordeiro had 314 yards in the latest victory. UNLV is balanced on both sides of the ball and the Spartans' defense is going to have its hands full. This one has the "feel" of whichever team has its hands on the ball last is going to come out on top, so because of that, I'll be recommending a second look at UNLV and the points on Friday night!
