Nationals over Indians- The Nationals who have a comfortable lead (6½ games) in the NL East have gone into a bit of a mini slump of late scoring just three runs in their last three games. This afternoon things don't appear the be any easier as they face the AL's Central Division leaders in the Cleveland Indians who shut down the Nationals yesterday 3-1. Josh Tomlin (11-4, 3.81 ERA) who is making his first career start against Washington is 7-2 with a 3.43 ERA in 13 inter-league starts will take the hill for the Tribe against the Nats Gio Gonzalez (7-9, 4.13) who is 5-0 with a 1.07 ERA in eight career starts against the Indians. Believe it or not Washington is 16-4 in Gonzalezs' last 20 Wednesday starts (What is that exactly) and do it again today. Take the NATIONALS!
