The Mariners starter Logan Gilbert met the A’s twice and got a no-decision on both occasions, but the Mariners have gone 2-0 in those games. He’s yielded a couple of earned runs in each of those two outings, allowing a .257 batting average to the Athletics who hit him pretty good.

On the other side, the current Mariners against Chris Bassitt have struggled to get on base. Bassitt has been in terrific form this season. He has pitched 125 innings with a 10-3 record, an ERA of 3.31, 126 strikeouts and 29 walks. He is currently 6-0 away from home, which will aid his confidence.
I think the Athletics have more dangerous weapons in their offensive arsenal than their rivals.
