The Phillies had a nice come from behind win for us last night and we will back them again on Tuesday night. The Nationals have struggled over the last week and while the offense hasn't been letting them down, the injuries that continue to mount for the pitching staff are too much to overcome. Philadelphia is riding a wave of momentum after the McCutchen walk off 3-run HR on Monday night. The Phillies offense is playing well and even with Moore on the mound, the thought is that he'll be much more like he was the first three starts of the month as opposed to the latest one. For the Nationals sending Fedde out to start isn't a good matchup for the road team, and it'll show in how quickly he can be exposed. Erick Fedde is one of the backend starters for the Nationals and he has allowed 41 runs in 15 starts and has struggled for the majority of the season. Moreover, Fedde is allowing a .261 expected opponent Batting Average, a .426 expected opponent Slugging Percentage, and a 4.78 expected ERA, all of which are near the bottom of the league. The Nats struggle on the road and the Phillies love the home field and should grab another Philadelphia win.
