This is a 10* TOTAL RED DRAGON on the UNDER between the Chicago White Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays.

After playing to six straight OVERS, the Rays have now played to three straight UNDERS, including the first two of this series against the White Sox, losing 4-2 in the first game and bouncing back in yesterday's 3-1 victory. A couple of competent starters go head-to-head in the finale of this three game set and in our opinion, all signs point to another lower-scoring pitchers duel:

Derek Holland: He's 4-5 with a 3.43 ERA. For the most part Holland has exceeded expectations this year. Holland is coming off an outing to forget though, getting shelled for a season-high eight runs over just 2.1 innings in his team's 15-5 loss to Detroit on Friday. But prior to that "dud" Holland had looked great, not allowing more than three earned runs in any of his outings and he led the team with a tiny 2.37 ERA. So let's not overreact to one crummy outing. His earlier numbers were unsustainable of course, but Holland is still on track for a great year. Note that he's 3-2 with a 3.83 ERA on the road.

Jake Odorizzi: He's 3-3 with a 3.53 ERA. Just like his counterpart, Odorizzi comes into this one off a stinker, giving up eight runs (just three earned) off four hits over 2.1 innings in a 12-4 loss to Seattle on Friday. Odorizzi looks to get back on track and take advantage of a Chicago tam that ranks 29th in wOBA against right-handed starters (.291). And note, Odorizzi has been at his best in front of the home town crowd this year, going 2-2 with a 2.90 ERA.

The bottom line: Play the UNDER.
