This is a 10* TOTAL BLOWOUT on the UNDER between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
These starters aren't nearly getting enough respect in our opinion. We look for them to battle deep and for this total to ultimately fall UNDER the number once it's all said and done:
Junior Guerra: He's 1-0 with a 1.83 ERA. Guerra most recently allowed two runs off seven hits over five innings in a no-decision against the Giants on Monday. He entered with a tiny 0.95 WHIP, but allowed ten baserunners to San Francisco, more than he's given up in any other start this year.
Zack Godley: He's 1-1 with a 2.39 ERA. Godley has made the most of his time in the big leagues this year, also sporting a 32:12 K:BB through 37.2 innings of work. Note that he's been particularly good in front of the home town crowd this year, going 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA.
The bottom line: With these two competent starters going head-to-head, all signs point to the UNDER as the savvy move in this contest.
