Sometimes these stats can be overrated and other times they help foreshadow the outcome of a contest. This particular play is based on strong and relevant ATS stats: note that Pittsburgh is 4-2 ATS as an underdog this year and 5-1 ATS on the road, while Navy is just 1-2 ATS in its last three when playing with two weeks or more of rest.
