I can't say anything negative about Jacob deGrom, so I won't even bother. The veteran looked dominant in his first start of the year, going six scoreless opposite Mike Soroka of the Braves. deGrom has a history of success at home as well.
The one knock against deGrom isn't actually his fault, as he's famously been one of the biggest victims of poor run support throughout his career.
Nathan Eovaldi is 2-4 with a 4.40 ERA in ten starts vs. the Mets. Eovaldi has been a bright spot early on for Boston's rotation though, as he comes in sporting a 1-0, 1.50 ERA thus far.
I like the big bats of Boston to do some damage in the Big Apple tonight!
