The Padres took two of three from Tampa Bay over the weekend, including a 5-4 victory last night. While that total flew over the number, we're anticipating a classic "duel" here between division foes in the opener of this series. The Giants have seen the total go over the number in five straight, and they've also won seven in a row. Note though that San Fran has seen the total go under the number in five of its last six after playing to five or more straight overs in a row. We have two really good starting pitchers going head-to-head, and we're expecting a "battle," as SD goes with Michael Wacha (7-2, 2.89 ERA), while the home side counters with Ryan Walker (2-0, 1.23.) Everything points to this total staying well under the number.
