7* Toronto Blue Jays Money Line -125 @ Boston Red Sox @ 7:10 ET - No team in baseball has more wins than the Red Sox entering Tuesday's action. Boston also is at home for this game and yet they are an underdog against a team that is right around .500 on the season. Do not let the line fool you here. Toronto is the play. The Blue Jays have a huge edge pitching edge in my opinion. Yes I know these pitchers just squared off and each allowed 3 homers in that start but lets take a closer look at other key numbers and why I expect Robbie Ray to have a much better shot at a big bounce back effort here rather than Garrett Richards. Ray has a 1.93 ERA last 3 starts with 23 strikeouts in 18 and 2/3 innings. The Blue Jays southpaw also has a solid 3.14 ERA in his road starts this season. Richards has a 5.17 ERA in his last 3 starts with only 11 strikeouts in 15 and 2/3 innings. Also, he has a 6.55 ERA at home this season but it truly could be even worse for Richards as he has a 2.01 WHIP in starts at Fenway Park this year. He has had some good fortune to not even have a higher ERA. His good fortune runs out here as the Jays had the 3 homers against him last week plus got to him for 11 hits in 5 and 1/3 innings last month. Ray, conversely, has allowed only 9 hits while striking out 14 in 11 innings in his last 2 starts versus Boston. Road team in a rout in this one. 7* TORONTO -125
