Carolina though won't be lacking for motivation today, as it's coming off its second straight loss, a 21-18 heart-breaker to the Eagles on Sunday. Sam Darnold had 177 passing yards and a touchdown, but he was also picked off three times.

This is a low total, between two teams that have struggled with offensive consistency from game-to-game. But these are two motivated clubs in desperate need of a victory and I think we'll see a faster-contest here. Note that four of their last five against each other have sailed OVER the number.
